Educational Qualification
| 1. Sarang Lascar Educational Qualification: (i) Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Certificate for Competency as Sarang from a Government recognized Institute or equivalent Desirable: – Two years experience as Sarang-in-charge of a Vessel of twenty Horse Power. |
| 2. Lascar Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass. Experience: 02 years experience in Service on Boat |
| 3. Draughtsman Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical or Civil or Electrical or Naval Architecture and Ship construction or Marine Engineering from a recognised University or institution or certificate in Draughtsmanship in any of the above said disciplines from an ITI (industrial training institute). Desirable: 01 year experience in the Relevant field viz. Civil or Mechanical or Electrical or Naval Architecture and Ship construction or Marine Engineering |

Motor Transport Driver (OG) Educational Qualification: – 10th standard pass -Must possess valid driving licence for both heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) and light Motor Vehicles (LMV). – Should have at least 02 years experience in driving Motor Vehicles. – Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles). |
| 5. Motor Transport Fitter Educational Qualification: – Matriculation or equivalent – Two years experience in automobile workshop Desirable: I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade |
| 6. Rigger Educational Qualification: (i) Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Should qualify a trade entrance examination (iii) Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized /reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprenticeship Act 1961 or under any other recognized Apprenticeship scheme. OR Should have completed training course in the Concerned trade from an ITI recognized for this purpose and have Minimum One year trade experience. OR Four Years experience in the trade for which no training is available in the industrial Training Institute or recognized institutions. |
