How Are Candidates Selected

Office Assistant / Officer Scale-I: Preliminary Exam (Reasoning, Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude — 80 marks, 45 minutes), then Main Exam (Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude — 200 marks, 120 minutes). Officer Scale-I candidates additionally go through a Common Interview after the Main Exam; Office Assistant candidates go straight to Provisional Allotment after the Main Exam.
