Assistant Supervisor has two routes: an experienced route (graduate with a valid BCAS Basic AVSEC certificate and 1 year of security supervisory experience), and a graduate fresher or ex-servicemen route. Posts go first to candidates holding a valid AVSEC certificate, and only the leftover vacancies go to freshers and ex-servicemen. Eligibility & Age Limit

You need a graduate degree in any discipline (minimum 3 years' duration) from a recognized university, with the ability to speak Hindi and English and to work in the local language. Experienced candidates must hold a valid BCAS Basic AVSEC certificate (the latest 13-day pattern) with at least 3 months' validity as on 1 December 2026. Preferred, but not compulsory: a BCAS-certified XBIS Screener credential, fire-fighting skill, industrial security and disaster management knowledge, unarmed combat, legal knowledge, MS Word and internet skills, and an NCC B/C certificate. Eligibility is reckoned as on 1 October 2026.

Age (as on 1 October 2026): maximum 40 years for Regional Security Officer and 35 years for Assistant Supervisor. The notification gives no minimum age. Upper-age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, and ex-servicemen get relaxation as per rules. No reservation under the Persons with Disabilities Act applies to these posts. Physical standard: minimum height 154.5 cm for women and 163 cm for men, with 2.5 cm relaxation for SC/ST candidates and candidates from the North East and hilly states, subject to domicile proof.
