Candidates must possess a degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. 2. Other things being equal, preference shall be given to candidates who possess National awards for physical efficiency. |
| 3. District Employment Officer (Post Code 1003 ) (Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes Service) 1. Candidates must possess a degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. 2. Other things being equal, preference shall be given to candidates as follows; (a) First – Candidates who hold both B.Com. degree and B.L. degree together with a Diploma in Taxation Laws (b) Second – Candidates who hold both B.Com. and B.L. degree (c) Third – Candidates who hold either B.Com. degree or B.L. degree together with a Diploma in Taxation Laws (d) Fourth – Candidates who hold either B.Com. degree or B.L. degree |

Candidates must possess a degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. 2. Other things being equal, preference shall be given to graduates in Economics, Education, Sociology, Statistics, Psychology and to those with Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science and experience in industrial or personnel management or labour welfare. |
| 6. Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Post Code 1946) (Tamil Nadu Labour Service) 1. Candidates must possess a degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; 2. Other things being equal preference shall be given to freedom fighters and members of their families. Explanation- (1) The expression “freedom fighters” shall mean persons who took part in any of the National Movements inaugurated by National Congress or under its sanction for attainment of independence of India and as a consequence have undergone imprisonment. (2) The expression “Family” shall mean the father, mother, son, daughter, grandson or unmarried grand daughter of a freedom fighter. |
