Educational Qualification
- Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse)
- 12 class pass from a recognised Board or University or Institute; and
- Must meet one of the following Diploma requirements:
- Qualified before 2008: Diploma of duration of three years in General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognised by the Central Nursing Council or State Nursing Council; or(
- Qualified after 2008 but before 2015-16: Diploma of duration of three and half years in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an institution accredited by the Central Nursing Council or State Nursing Council; or
- Qualified after 2015-16: Diploma of duration of three years in General Nursing and Midwifery with internship from an institution recognised by the Central Nursing Council or State Nursing Council; and
- Registered with Central Nursing Council / State Nursing Council as a General Nurse and Mid-wife.
- Sub Inspector (Pioneer) – Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University or institute.
- Sub Inspector (Communication) – Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication or Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering or Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University or institutes.
