Educational Qualification

1. Engineer C (Electronics)
   • Position 1: 
     • Essential: M.Sc or Engineering degree in Electronics with first class & three years’ of relevant experience / M.Tech Degree in Electronics with First class marks 
     • Desirable: Experience in Electronics design, preferably in a research laboratory, or advanced instrumentation setting, including but not limited to Precision analog design, High-speed digital and RF Engineering, magnetic field control, embedded systems and firmware, PCB design and simulation, laser control electronics, data acquisition. 
   • Position 2: 
     • Essential: M.Sc or Engineering degree in Electronics with first class & three years’ of relevant experience / M.Tech Degree in Electronics with First class marks 
     • Desirable: Experience in Designing and fabrication of instruments (amplifiers, temperature controllers, etc), automation of experiments (computer interfacing), maintenance and running of instruments
2. Engineer B (Electronics)
   • Position 1: 
3. Essential: M.Sc. or Engineering degree in Electronics with first class
   • Position 2: 
     • Essential: M.Sc. or Engineering degree in Electronics with first class 
     • Desirable: Hands-on experience in handling FPGA, Circuits, signals and systems, interfacing using FPGA, digital and analog boards, RF cards, Machine Learning, Instrumentation for laser systems, high finesse cavities, optical frequency comb, RF and microwave sources, optical modulators, optical and optomechanical systems, CAD/CAM, high level programming and instrument control with core expertise in Realtime control and feedback, Python, C# / C++, Lab view, etc. 
     • Desirable: Experience in Antenna design, Analog/RF and digital instrumentation for precision Radio Astronomy Experiments. 
4. Engineer B (Mechanical)
   • Position 3:
     • Essential: M.Sc. or Mechanical Engineering with first class Desirable: Experience in mechanical simulation, design and fabrication towards development of X-ray optics 
5. Engineer B (Instrumentation)
   • Essential: M.Sc. or Engineering degree in Instrumentation with first class 
   • Desirable: Experience in designing and fabrication of devices for physics experiments (microfluids, lithography, surface coating, optical design, glasswork, amplifiers, temperature controllers, etc.), automation of experiments (computer interfacing), maintenance and running of instruments
6. Engineering Assistant C (Electronics)
   • Position 1:
     • Essential: Diploma in Electronics Engineering 
     • Desirable: Experience in X-ray optics development and Electronics developments in X-ray laboratory 
   • Position 2:
     • Essential: Diploma in Electronics Engineering 
     • Desirable: Experience in RF instrumentation 
   • Position 3:
     • Essential: Diploma in Electronics Engineering 
     • Desirable: Experience in Antenna and Analog Instrumentation 
   • Position 4:
     • Essential: Diploma in Electronics Engineering 
     • Desirable: Experience in Digital Instrumentation 
7. Engineering Assistant C (Mechanical)
   • Position 5:
     • Essential: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 
     • Desirable: Experience in Mechanical designs, 3D drawings and prototype building 
8. Engineering Assistant C (IT)
   • Position 6:
     • Essential: Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology 
     • Desirable: Candidates must possess a functional understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms, encompassing setup, customization, and repair. Responsibilities include managing hardware and software deployments or enhancements, resolving LAN and WiFi connectivity issues, and overseeing audiovisual equipment. Necessary credentials include foundational networking knowledge and professional certifications in Windows or Linux operating systems and networking. Additionally, strong analytical thinking and effective interpersonal communication abilities are essential.
9. Engineering Assistant C (Civil)
   • Position 7:
     • Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering
     • Desirable: 3 years of experience in relevant fields and knowledge about AutoCAD is preferable. 
10. Engineering Assistant C (Electrical)
    • Position 8:
      • Essential: Diploma in Electrical Engineering 
      • Desirable: Experience in substation operation and maintenance, internal and external electrical project works
11. Tradesman A (Electrical)
    • Position 1:
      • Essential: ITI in Electrical 
      • Desirable: Experience in handling UPS, Chiller Units, AHUs, high pressure air supplies, etc. 
    • Position 2:
      • Essential: ITI in Electrical 
      • Desirable: Experience in electrical maintenance, day-to-day lab maintenance, field wiring, integration and testing activities 
12. Tradesman A (AC Mechanic)
    • Position 3:
      • Essential: ITI in Air Conditioning 
      • Desirable: Experience in handling Chiller Units, AHUs, high pressure air supplies, etc. 
13. Tradesman A (Mechanical)
    • Position 4:
      • Essential: ITI in Mechanical 
      • Desirable: Experience in assembling telescope structures, antennas, development, assembly, integration and testing activities 
14. Tradesman A (Fitter/Turner/Machinist)
    • Position 5, Position 6, Position 7 & Position 8: 
      • Essential: ITI in Fitter / Turner / Machinist 
      • Desirable: Hands-on experience in operating workshop machinery, mechanical fitting, and basic machining operations, along with the ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.

1. Engineer C – 35 years
2. Engineer B – 35 years
3. Engineering Assistant C – 28 years
4. Tradesman A – 28 years
