Educational Qualification

1. Technical Assistant – TA01 – Mechanical Engineering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and experience of 02 years in the relevant area/ field. (OR) A minimum of sixty percent of the marks and two years of experience in the appropriate field are required for lateral admission to a diploma program in mechanical engineering, which must be completed full-time for at least two years.

2. Technical Assistant (RA) – TA02 – Computer Science & Engineering Diploma inComputer Engineering /  Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Technology / IT  of at least 03 years full time duration, with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and 02 years of experience in the relevant field. (OR) Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Technology / IT of at least 02 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in diploma course, with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and e02 years of experience in the relevant field. (OR) B.Sc. [Computer Science] or equivalent with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organisation.

3. Technical Assistant – TA03 – Electronics Engineering Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and 02 years of experience in the concerned field. (OR) Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics Engineering of at least 02 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in diploma course, with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and 02 years of experience in the relevant field.

4. Technical Assistant – TA04 – Food Science/Food Technology B.Sc. [Food Science/Food Technology/Food Science & Nutrition] or equivalent, with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organisation. (OR) B.Sc. [Food Science/Food Technology/Food Science & Nutrition] or equivalent, with minimum Sixty Percentage marks and one year full time professional qualification.

5. Technical Assistant – TA05 – Microbiology B.Sc. Age Limit

1. Technical Assistant – 28 Years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.

Salary

1. Technical Assistant  (TA) – Rs.35,400 – 1,12,400/- Total Emoluments: Rs.64,740/-

Eligible candidates are required to apply on-line through CSIR website: website i.e. https://cftri.res.in/recruitments/regular_positions/1 3. No other mode of application will be accepted. 4. The candidates have to remit application fee Rs.500/- through NET Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI. 5. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities/Women/Ex-Servicemen/CSIR Employees are exempted from submission of application fee. 6. Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit the online application much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or failure to login to the CSIR website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days. 7. Not more than one application should be submitted by any candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee/ intimation charges paid for the other multiple5 registration(s) will stand forfeited. Multiple attendance/ appearances in the online examination and/ or interview will be summarily rejected/ candidature cancelled.
